  Prevention of thrombotic disorders by anti-thrombotic diet and exercise: evidence by using global thrombosis tests
■ 概要
  Prevention of thrombotic disorders such as myocardial infarction and stroke has priority over treatment. Screening diet components for experimental anti-thrombotic effect requires a technique, which can assess the pathologically relevant thrombotic status. The Global Thrombosis Test (GTT) has been shown to be suitable for rapid assessment of global thrombotic status. The global parallel-plate thrombosis test (GPPTT) which is well validated has been successfully used in many years for screening of anti-thrombotic and anti-bleeding agents and for discovery and development of novel anti-thrombotic and anti-bleeding agents. By using GTT, varieties of various fruits, vegetables, and regular physical exercise have been tested for the effect on global thrombotic status.
